The Sparx BEAM™ Edge Checker is Sparx Hockey’s patented Blade Edge Accuracy Measurement device, designed to deliver unmatched precision for skate sharpening. Using advanced laser technology, the BEAM measures blade edges and alignment to an incredible 1/10,000th of an inch—less than a third the thickness of a human hair. This level of accuracy ensures your skates are sharpened to perfection every time.
Included with every Sparx Sharpener 3 and Sharpener 3 PRO, the BEAM is also compatible with all previous-generation Sparx sharpeners. It connects to the Sparx Hockey App, giving you access to enhanced features and detailed edge measurements. Easy-to-read icons make it simple to understand your blade’s alignment and edge balance.
